Race Registration

The 1st Pitcairn Island Marathon was held on Friday July 17, 2026.
12 International runners and 20 runners from Pitcairn Island participated.
There were 15 finishers in the marathon (three from Pitcairn Island!).
There were 6 half-marathon finishers (all from Pitcairn).

The 2nd Pitcairn Island Marathon will take place on Friday July 16, 2027

Due to the limited capacity of the Silver Supporter freighter taking us to Pitcairn, only 12 international participants can participate the 2027 race.

The race registration is a three-step process

Step 1: Fill out the form below. Filling out the form will send an email to
info@tntmarathons.com

Step 2: Pay a deposit of 600 USD. The deposits will be due in September. Only by paying the deposit is your spot reserved! Details on how to pay the deposit will be provided later.

After the deposit is paid, your reservation for the marathon and voyage is secure.

Step 3: Pay the balance. Final amount to be determined in September. There will be a price increase from 2026. An invoice will be sent to you. Because accommodation prices are different, everyone’s invoice might be slightly different. Payment can be made using the Shop on the Home page: https://pitcairnmarathon.de/. Details on how to pay the balance using other payment methods will be provided by email/WhatsApp directly to clients.

Since this is a very small race, last minute cancellations could jeopardize the race results for all other participants. Furthermore, voyage and air tickets are pre-paid. Therefore, the deposits and final payments are not refundable. However, if someone is willing to take your place, then the deposit and final payment can be refunded. However, it might be impossible to replace a last-minute cancellation (see cancelation policy).

Some nationalities will require a Visa for French Polynesia (see Tour & Travel Information Page). For those who require a Visa for French Polynesia, please recognize that due to the small size of the race, you accept the risk if your Visa is denied and you are not able to travel. In case a Visa is denied and you are not able to travel, no refund of the deposit or final payment will be made.

Cancellation policy:
After paying the deposit and/or the final payment, if a cancellation becomes necessary, you are responsible for finding a substitute runner to take your place. Only if a substitute runner is found that pays the final payment will it be possible to refund a deposit.

Local runners from Pitcairn are welcome and encouraged to join the marathon race. We will offer shorter distances for local runners from Pitcairn Island. Local runners should still signup using the registration form below. For Tour option, please use None (local Pitcairn). If you plan to run a shorter distance, please indicate this in the Message Box below (e.g. 5km, 10 km, half-marathon etc.). International runners can only register for the full marathon.
